1.02.
Quality Assurance
A.
No substitutions without written approval of the architect.
1.03.
Submittals
A.
Submit hip drawings for architects review.
1.04.
Product Delivery, Storage & Handling
A.
Product shall be shipped and stored in original container at 60*-70*F
until installed.
B.
When opening container, care shall be taken with box openers, blades,
etc. to prevent slashing the liner.
C.
Once installed care shall be taken with the use of hand tools
(shovels, trowels, etc.) to prevent puncturing the liner.
1.05.
Job Conditions
A.
Installation shall occur after completion of painting, mechanical and
other work that might damage the liner.
B.
After installation only rubber soled shoes or socks, free from nails,
rocks, etc., shall eb used for any work requiring anyone to walk on the liner.
1.06.
Guarantee
A.
Provide owner with a three (3) year guarantee against leakage fom normal
use.
B. When using standard NoSweat! Liners for Caryotis spp. Palms, manufacturer recommends up potting at least two (2) sizes from growing container and the use of two (2) liners per plant.

2.01.
Materials
A.
No Sweat! Waterproof Liner, as a manufactured by Supply Side Landscape
Products, 1–888-222-4341, consisting of:
1.
No Sweat! Surface Vinyl Liner Clamp, #1582
2.
No Sweat! 18-30mil Flexible PVC Membrane.
3.
No Sweat! Loc-in-Bead, heat welded to membrane.
4.
Execution
3.01. Inspection
A.
Verify size and dimensions of planter.
B.
Verify that planter has no sharp edges or protruding objects that will
damage membrane.
C.
Stating installation constitutes acceptance of substrate.
3.02.
Preparation
A.
Remove all foreign material from planter. Clean and abrade all surfaces
to receive adhesive.
B.
Remove all sharp edges, etc. found during inspection.
3.03.
Installation
A.
Install clamp with one of the following:
1.
For wood or metal substrate:
a. 1” 8d ring shank nail (pre-drill clamp 12-16” O.C.)
b. 1” #10 pan head sheet metal screw, pre-drill
as
above.
2.
For concrete substrate:
a.
DP100 Epoxy applied with Scotch Weld EPX Applicator with mixing nozzle
for measured dispensing or equal. Follow adhesive label instructions for cure
time.
3.
For ceramic or other glazed surfaces:
a.
Clean and abrade surface where clamp will be affixed.
b. DP110 will be applied as in 2a.
